In the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna played a pivotal role in shaping the course of events, guiding the Pandavas with wisdom, strategy, and unwavering righteousness. Today, our political leaders worldwide could learn much from Krishna’s example. His life teaches us the importance of dharma (righteousness) in governance. Krishna stood for justice, fairness, and truth, even when the odds were stacked against him.
"यतो धर्मः ततो जयः"
“Where there is righteousness, there is victory.”
This shloka from the Mahabharata reminds us that true victory comes when leaders uphold dharma. In today’s political climate, where power often overshadows ethics, Krishna’s teachings remind us that true leadership is about serving the people with integrity and ensuring that justice prevails. Political leaders must remember that their power is a responsibility, not a privilege, and that their actions must align with the greater good.
